Playing Clean: Supporting Health and Sports in 2nd Grade
Help me give my students Dial hand soap, hygiene supplies, and sports equipment like soccer and volleyballs to promote health and active play in my 2nd grade classroom.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My 2nd grade students are energetic, curious, and always on the move! In our classroom, we’re working hard to build strong learning habits—and healthy hygiene habits too. Keeping hands clean is one of the best ways we can stay healthy, focused, and ready to learn.
I’m requesting antibacterial hand soap, tissues, and cleaning supplies to help us maintain a clean, germ-free environment.
I’m also including a soccer ball and volleyballs to encourage active play, teamwork, and exercise during recess and movement breaks. Physical activity helps students regulate emotions, build confidence, and stay engaged throughout the day.
With your support, we’ll build healthy routines, stay active, and enjoy learning in a safe and clean classroom.
