This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students come from diverse neighborhoods. They are all eager learners despite the many challenges they may face. They come from diverse backgrounds, both economically and culturally. I am proud to say our school is all-inclusive, and we celebrate the diversity of our students to the max.
Many of our families are first and second-generation immigrant families who are new to the country, planting seeds for their own success and for future generations to come.
Education is a top priority, regardless. Invest in our future! We will all benefit!
My Project
We have to bring the old fashion non plug type of games back into the classroom. Yes, technology has a place. The interaction between the students is what I want to see more of. Playing games is a fun way of learning, but it is also an important social aspect of growing up.
Any of type of game helps us develop skills that we can not learn from a book or a teacher.
Student know themselves the best and with games involving cards in relation to math or playing Uno to get to know your fellow classmate will help us create an environment of inclusion.
