My Project

As a teacher in a fully self-contained classroom, I am committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment where my students can thrive. Play is a vital way for students to learn, grow, and cope with challenges. I want my students to not only succeed in the classroom but also thrive on the playground.

To continue fostering my students' social-emotional development, I want to provide a means for them to continue to grow through play.

With this project, I want to offer a variety of play equipment and activities that will nurture their social and emotional growth. During recess, students will enjoy playing with scoop balls, pogo sticks, catch a ball, or ankle skip balls. While indoors, they can strengthen their verbal and team-building skills with engaging STEM activities. The mesh bags and carts will keep the play toys organized.

My students are truly amazing, and this project will be a valuable resource in supporting their social and emotional well-being!
