My Project
Our preschool/TK/Kindergarten yard has seen better days. Today students have access to a playground and dirt. Unfortunately, without access to materials to safely throw, take apart, and ride we are constantly redirecting students behavior.
There materials give students a safe space to move their bodies without hurting their peers!
When students are climbing the fence we know they need some hard work. With new materials we can redirect them to scooters or to meet other sensory needs in the sand and water areas. We know that with new materials and more options students will hear more yesses from adults and require less intervention to unsafe behaviors.
