My Students

My students are part of a K-12 school where over 40 percent of the students receive free or reduced-price lunches.

Our school excels at testing, despite the obstacles the students have overcome. We are rated as one of the top schools in the state on standardized tests, with our third graders performing far above the other students in the state.

Our students are proud of their achievements and ready to learn and lead as they move into the future.

My Project

Exercise and play are a wonderful way to build team spirit, and has been found to improve academics as well! Our class would like some new playground equipment.

Footballs, soccer balls, and jump ropes will keep our kids moving and healthy!

Studies have shown that outdoor exercise helps students in the classroom, as well. With spring coming our students will be spending even more time outdoors. Participating in team sports such as football, basketball, and soccer will continue to build a team spirit within our classroom walls. These activities will also help with coordination and other physical skills 8-9-year-olds need to develop.
