Playground Paradise: A Safe Place to Explore and Play.
Help me give my students and all of the Pre-K students in our program a safe playground to play on for many years to come. The new UltraPlay playground will replace over 30 years of old equipment.

My Project
Outside play is critical for Pre-K students who are experiencing school for the first time. These students need a playground where they can feel safe, free to play without injury and where they can use their imagination. Right now our playground equipment is over 30 years old and is falling apart. Our students are three, four and five years old at a title 1 school.
Approximately half of our students are special needs students who will benefit from a playground that has special needs activities for them to use.
Kids need outside play time with proper equipment to help them with social skills, gross and fine motor skills and cognitive skills. Students will be able to learn, grow, and enjoy a new playground for many years to come.
