Playground Equipment for Socialization and Learning

My Students

My students are amazing, sixth graders who are excited about school and learning. I teach fifty students ELA and Social Studies and they enjoy learning and participating in school. My school is located in Opelousas, Louisiana in south Louisiana and many of my students are at-risk. The parents and guardians of my students are highly supportive and want the best education for their child. Having such supportive parents has made teaching a partnership with them and made teaching the students more meaningful.

My Project

My students are so wonderful and they have been learning virtually during the pandemic. They are coming to school now and we need playground equipment so they can socialize and have things to do at recess and creative play.

By having balls and jump ropes, the students will be able to have actual activities to do.

Currently, they are using old soccer balls for basketballs! They are really great children and deserve more than that.

Please help me to help them so they can play and socialize again and have fun!
