Help!! My first grade classroom has tons of energy! I teach in an urban Pennsylvania setting where children do not always play outside after school or participate in organized sports.
My students only get gym once a week and do not have a lunch recess. I try to get them outside myself for 30 minutes per day, but I cannot play duck, duck, goose or run races much longer without going insane.
We need playground equipment such as balls, jump ropes, a big parachute and beanbags to play with and add variety to recess.
You will make recess fun for the kids and for me, and help these students release their energy in a healthy way. Young students need daily exercise and this equipment will keep them engaged and entertained for a long time.
