My Project
Our students are in need of sports equipment for recess time. They love playing soccer, baseball, 4 square, wall ball, and basketball! Playground sports equipment is not in our school budget, so the equipment purchased a few years ago has not been replaced and is in need of replacement. These items will bring so much joy to our students at recess who want to learn to play a new sport and engage in collaborative play.
Students engaging in play with other students is vital to their social emotional development.
These sports items will provide an opportunity for our students learn a sport they may not learn outside of school. They will also learn how to engage in sportsmanship and have those collaborative conversations when playing team sports. We already have a great place to store the equipment and we can't wait to see this project come to life!
