This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Recess is one of the most enjoyable parts of the day for students. My students always come to life when its 'recess time'. We have to share the playgrounds with 6 other classes and sometimes the areas get crowded. I would like to provide my students with equipment to use when the other obstacle gym equipment is too full.

Giving students equipment to use will ensure that they utilize their recess time to the fullest and get plenty of great exercise.

The balls and jump ropes will help my students to be fully engaged in activity throughout the entirety of recess and this will help them to get their hearts pumping and brains energized for the second half of the school day. This will help them to be ready to write and share their learning with each other.
