My Project

Please help my class. We are a small school that embraces our Native population. We aim to improve our children’s literacy skills while celebrating their culture. Fry Bread is a big part of the culture. Having the Fry Bread retelling kit would help connect the skill of retelling to something that my students know. My students are fun, love to explore, and enjoy working together as a team.

Having these games in the room will help create learning opportunities for my students using fun, which they love.

These games include the Lakeshore Splash Reading Games Set, Lakeshore Phonics and Word Recognition folder games, the Roll and Write Word Game, and the Early Language Folder Game Library. To create an environment rich in language and print I would use the classroom labels to label the room to provide the visual connections needed to learn. The

Phonics First Little Readers are for those who enjoy reading to themselves or one another after working with the games.
