My Students
Do you remember building your first castle or fort? My energetic and curious pre-k students do not have enough math manipulates for the amount of students that want to build and explore. The 3-D Magnet Builders and the Giant Slot are needed to help my students love math!
My fabulous students are so ready to learn!
Many of the students at my Title 1 school don't have many opportunities to play with different types of magnetic toys. These fine students need your help to build their math concepts. Children love to learn with hands-on materials. Crystal Climbers and Magnetic Patter Blocks are a great way for students to be creative and explore. The magnetic color and counting mazes are wonderful opportunities for the children to move beads to the corresponding number or color. I want the low-income students to have many wonderful opportunities to learn.
My Project
How can students develop a love for math with paper and pencil only? They can't! Please, this is a fantastic opportunity to help our young students have more chances to explore with different types of shapes, blocks and magnets. These tools, the peg number boards, magnetic pattern blocks, 3D magnet builders, and crystal climbers will give multiple opportunities to my young students to be creative and successful. We have free choice center in my classroom and I want my students to build and explore!
The crystal climbers, 3D magnet builders, peg number boards, magnetic color and counting mazes are critical manipulates in helping students be creative and imaginative!
These fun shapes will catch the minds eye and the there will be no limit to their imagination. Who knows, maybe these tools will inspire an architect or scientist.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
