My students need uniforms for the upcoming summer basketball tournaments and league!

My Students

The student body at OBCM is a tight knit group. Even after leaving and going on to high school, students often return to visit teachers and younger peers. Last year was the first time the school had a basketball team.

The athletes on the team worked hard, pushed one another, and would not accept defeat.

Their determination paid off as they won the Constellation League Championship, with only one loss the entire season.

This group of athletes have stayed close despite attending different high schools. This summer the team is coming together to play once again.

My Project

Before moving on to high school, this group of basketball players had great successes as an eighth grade team. Some of the players went on to play in high school, while others did not. The team wants to come together again to play in summer tournaments and league. Reuniting the team will not only further sportsmanship and promote healthy habits, but will keep athletes on track over the summer.

My athletes are in need of uniforms.

Uniforms are required in the tournaments and league the athletes want to participate in. Starting a summer league team requires a lot of new items. Currently uniforms are the most expensive cost. I am asking for donations towards uniforms to cut costs for families. Some of the athletes will not be able to play if they have to purchase their own.

Donations will aid the team in purchasing uniforms. The donations will allow players to participate in something they truly love and enjoy.
