This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In today’s world, gaming is more than just entertainment—it’s a way to connect, problem-solve, and build community. With this PlayStation 5 Pro, my goal is to create a safe and inclusive space where students can engage in positive competition, develop teamwork skills, and strengthen their social-emotional awareness. For many of my students, school is the only place where they can access gaming technology and feel part of a supportive environment. The PS5 Pro will be used as part of our gaming club, after-school clubs, and even digital storytelling projects that allow students to explore creativity and strategy.This console isn't just a reward—it’s a bridge.

It encourages students to collaborate, communicate, and learn patience, empathy, and digital citizenship.

Especially for students who struggle with engagement or behavior, this type of tool can be transformative. It motivates, rewards, and reminds them that school can be a place of joy and belonging. Your support helps us create a space where students feel seen, valued, and connected—on and off the screen.
