This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

What I love most about my multilingual learners is their vibrant cultural backgrounds, their stories, and their eagerness to connect and express themselves despite language barriers. They bring incredible diversity and strength to our classroom community.

These games and the karaoke machine will help foster a safe, inclusive space where students can build social skills, practice language, and celebrate their voices and identities.

Through cooperative play and shared storytelling, students learn to appreciate differences, develop empathy, and build friendships across cultures.

By providing engaging, culturally responsive activities, I am creating opportunities for students to experience joy, build confidence, and develop the communication skills they need to advocate for themselves and others—key components of racial justice education.
