This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are a title 1 school with a very diverse population group. Our students love a wide variety of activities and games. Our students have a lot of school pride and are eager to participate in new and challenging activities. We have a large student to teacher ratio. Our students come to P.E. ready to learn and participate. The cross curricular instruction provided by all the coaches is crucial to aiding in their academic success. Our students love P.E. and we want to provide a strong platform for physical/academic success.

My Project

These materials will have a profound impact on our students capacity to learn and play fun activities including team sports and physical fitness components. Soccer activities improve foot speed and agility. Soccer can be played indoor/outdoor and played all year long. The outdoor basketballs, football, & soccer balls are appropriate for all weather/surfaces. The poly dots are multi functional directional cues used for instruction of daily activities. The oversized tennis balls aid in spatial awareness, visual acuity, and assist with our special needs students. The addition of this P.E. equipment will add to the core supply and are the nuts and bolts of our department.
