My kindergarten class is full of excitement. The students are motivated, kind, lovable, and so happy to be in school. For most of them, it is their first real school experience and they have made an amazing adjustment to our new normal of wearing masks and social distancing. I am so excited to be on this educational journey with them to become lifelong learners.
My Project
With a donation of a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card, I will be able to purchase literacy center activities from the TPT online store to use to strengthen letter/sound recognition, phonemic awareness, and phonics. Teachers Pay Teachers is an excellent resource for teachers to share ideas and materials to meet students learning needs. I would love to purchase activities to use as literacy centers to support my students in the areas of phonics, reading, writing, and spelling. Incorporating literacy centers will allow my students to work independently or within a group and will make learning more engaging and fun.
