This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love exploring new themes around the classroom. They enjoy playing and sharing with their friends. Mostly, my students enjoy art through music and painting. With the easel students can paint in the classroom using their favorite colors and materials to create wonderful and exciting are pieces. Through music, students can use the drums as a wonderful way to express themselves with music.
Students learn through play.
Learning through play is the focus of the classroom. In our pre-kinder ESE class, play time isn't just about playing. Play time is about exploring, taking risks and experimenting.
With the use of the light table, students are able to explore and further their curiosity with the use of multisensory play. The magna-tiles are translucent which go hand in hand with the light time, furthering the learning process of different colors and building.
Students learn through play and in our classroom we strive to provide these opportunities through various materials daily.
