This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The use of all of these outdoor toys will help promote a more positive play and socialization for my students and school. Playing with toys and with peers are a critical aspect of early school years. In my school, which is a k-2 building, the children love being outside, running around and getting fresh air. These toys will truly brighten and enhance their recess and play experience. Through play, children will be able to engage in various outdoor activities that allow them to be creative and promote working together. Team sports fosters social skills, teamwork, and problem solving. As a school, we encourage children to learn through play experiences as often as possible. Providing them with these various play tools will offer them opportunities for a structured, safe and pleasant play experience.
