This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have an extended half day classroom that includes 17 children and is an inclusion classroom, as a teacher I have learned so much from them. Children come to the classroom to explore and grow, using their imagination and creativity by playing and learning at the same time. For many of the students being exposed to different materials and activities help them to develop their fine motors, language and social emotional skills. Having a safe and secure environment helps them to feel confident and build a good relationship with each other.
Differences between middle-class and low-income students show up at school.
by understanding those difference and how to address them, teachers can help diminish some of the negative effects of property.
My Project
The requested materials will help the students in my classroom to be more engaged in the different areas in the room. The baskets will help them to put their belongings in their cabbies, because the one we have are all broken and fix with tape. The different manipulative toys and dolls will help each child in the classroom to be more creative, to expand their imagination and develop their language, social emotional, cognitive and fine motor stills.
Toys are tools that helps them learn about themselves and the word around them.
As children play, they learn to solve problem, to get along with others and to develop their fine and large motor skills needed to grow and learn.
