Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

1st graders need to explore their learning through play! The items I have requested will lead to enhanced conversations and increased vocabulary. Students will incorporate using these play-based items into writing lists, how-tos, and stories. They will be able to better communicate with each other through play experiences. Students will get to explore different foods, doctors kits, veterinary kits, space ships adventures, animals, puppets, and roads and cars. By using these materials in structured play stations, students will have more opportunity to learn vocabulary and invent stories using their imaginations.
