Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students in transitional kindergarten learn best through hands-on experiences and play. When children engage with learning toys like building manipulatives, they become problem solvers and critical thinkers. When students play with toys like the Fairy Tree house, they use their imagination and develop their ability to engage in cooperative play. Students can use the Sensory Discovery Tray to investigate science materials through their five senses. The Spin and Slide Spooner boards can be used to develop gross motor skills and the ability to work with others. TK students need to engage in learning through all modalities- auditory, kinesthetic, and visual and this variety of tools will help them do just that.

My students are the youngest learners on our campus, and they deserve the best materials to help them become kindergarten-ready.

I know that new materials, like the ones I have chosen, will help my students grow not only academically but also socially and emotionally. Please help my students become the awesome scholars I know they can be.
