Help me give my students educational toys to support language growth during play based speech therapy.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Roche's classroom raised $173

My Students
My students are energetic preschoolers who love to play and learn. They are all working on growing their language, social and academic skills in a play based, special education preschool classroom. Many of my students are non- or mostly non-verbal. In my classrooms we work on providing functional communication for all students using spoken words, visuals, AAC and sign language to best fit the student's needs.
My Project
I use play based language therapy with all of my students.
These toy materials will help me to create fun and engaging play opportunities for my students both in person or via virtual speech sessions.
All of these toys are very basic and can help promote simple functional language.
In our classrooms we use core communication visual boards to help support a child's expressive language. These toys can provide opportunities to practice these basic concepts such as "go", "stop", "put in", "take out", "same", "different", "who", "what", "see", "like", "I", "you", "he", "she", "more", and "all done".
