This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach a Bilingual PreKinder class in South Texas. Almost all of my students come from low socioeconomic homes. Nevertheless, my students are always eager to learn and I would love to give them the necessary tools to help them achieve that. At this grade level, my students are learning to write and I want for them, as young as they are, to learn to love writing! The dry erase boards would help them practice their writing and the pencils as well. My students love to learn about numbers too! The hopscotch mat would teach them math while having fun playing inside, especially when the weather is rainy. My students will love to sit and listen to Frida's book, they love reading and they will learn about their Hispanic culture. Thanks in advance foe your generosity. Blessings.
