My Project

I teach 7th grade science and these plants will help enhance my curriculum. They will also give the students a chance to learn how to care for a plant and will enhance the environment of our classroom. Many of my students come from low income families and they might not have plants at home. Learning to care for a living thing will help provide them with a life skill. Interacting with plants can increase life satisfaction, reduce anxiety and stress, and spark creativity. Funding this project will help my students this year and the ones I have in the future.
