About My Students
Hello, we're the Green Team of p.s/m.s 280. Our mission is to make the school a better place. There is about 20 of us who go around collecting recyclables for our school. We all work very hard to make sure that our school is very green and clean. You see, we all take turns to collect the bottles and cans. Then we dispose of it properly. We want to make the air quality better. We can do this by using plants.
If our project were to be funded, we would use it for our schools' air. Day by day the air gets more and more polluted. This is not good for our environment. This can cause global warming and other climate changes. This is why we want to put plants in every classroom to decrease carbon in our air which will slow down global warming.
In Their Own Words
In this project we are trying to put spider plants in each classroom. We are trying to improve our school air. So we can prevent contamination of viruses. In our school. By doing this we can also reduce the carbon in our air. In our school we believe in better air quality for our planet.
This project is going to show younger students that they have to help nature by using reusable & recyclable objects instead of things that can't be reused. By using the spider plants, we will help make earths air cleaner and make our schools air cleaner to prevent sicknesses from dirty air.
Its important because it helps the school stay more green. Also because it sets a good example for our younger grades. It will help us save more trees. This will help us stay in a happy and healthy place. It will decrease the chances of people catching asthma or cancer.
