Plants and Animal Habitat Unit

Help me give my students the ability to see the butterflies habitat and growth stages up close and personal!

My Project

We are Learning about Plants and Animals. The habitats in which the animals and plants live in and how/ why they adapted to fit their homes. Being able to watch the butterfly grow and change through the different stages of life would benefit my students to see it first hand and learn what happens in which stage and why the stages happen.

Observing the life cycle of a butterfly would benefit my students during this Unit of our curriculum in a big way.

They will make predictions and hypothesis about the larva. Students will monitor the stages and what happen in each one. We will discuss what we are viewing and what might happen next. At the very end or the conclusion for this experiment we will let the butterflies go.
