My Students

Our planting projects are a hit with the students and learning is enhanced with them.

I teach 7th grade science to a diverse group of high needs, urban students.

Many of our life science units are enhanced with planting projects. We are currently studying the scientific method with seed sprouting and plan many more projects throughout the year.

My Project

We need to expand our planting area with a compact plantmobile. This plantmobile will ensure that our planting projects continue especially for units on cells, photosynthesis, etc. The students are excited to make their daily observations of their planting projects and for many of the students this is their first experience with plant growth.

Hands on, real life experiences improve learning. This plantmobile will provide learning for this year and many years to come. Thank you for your support of my students.
