Planting the Seeds for Exploring and Loving Science In Pre-K!
My students need materials for their Science Center. I am asking for science viewers, dinosaur toys, touch and feel sensory capsules, category sorting rods, and science discovery kits so I can make this Center more appealing.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have a classroom of adorable 4-year-olds eager and curious about the world around them. The children are involved in many activities throughout the day.
For example, the children engage with their peers in choice time center activities that involve many opportunities for hands-on learning, growing, and socializing.
I would like the opportunity to engage my students more, as they learn through play every day.

My Project
Currently, my Science Center has materials found in nature such as rocks, leaves, acorns, and shells. The children, on occasion, visit the Science center but do not stay there very long because I do not have materials in this center that engage them and peak their interest. If you donate to my project, you will be instilling a love for nature and science related topics in my students. They will be able to explore their senses, view different animals in their natural habitats, conduct hands-on experiments, and use their senses in many different ways. Your donations will make a difference in my students’ learning and school lives because you will be giving my students the opportunity to learn, play, explore, and fall in love with science in a developmentally appropriate and fun way.
