My PreK students spend their school days with hands-on activities, lots of exploration, and plenty of time to play! Singing, free play, art projects, and read-aloud stories are some favorite parts of their day. They are thoughtful, engaged, and always excited to attend school.
The children love to explore in the sensory table and they are building their fine motor muscles as they do!
I want to create a planting-themed sensory bin for our Nature unit. The green and brown crinkle paper and the brown glass pebbles will be grass, dirt, and rocks for the plants to grow in. Flower building toys will allow the children to design and “grow” their own flowers in the sensory table. The flower and plant specimens will let children inspect real plants closely, and also serve as inspiration for their own garden designs.
