My Project
These materials will allow my students to learn about the wonders of plants for many years to come. Wisconsin fast plants were developed specifically to grow very quickly, so my students will be able to observe the entire life cycle. Additionally, the growth cart and rockwool will allow my students to plant, germinate, and grow their plants under controlled conditions.
With these materials, science will come alive as students conduct their own experiments!
As they learn about botany (the science of plants), they'll design and conduct an experiment. Perhaps they'll investigate how pH levels affect height, or how humidity impacts cellular structure, or how humidity affects transpiration. With these materials, the choices are theirs!
