Help my students prepare for the future!
Students in my ninth grade World History courses are having a hard time turning in assignments on time, preparing for tests properly, and organizing their schoolwork.
By having student planners we can battle the disorganization and move smoothly into the future in all classes not just history. Two years ago our district used to provide students with planners for their classes to record homework, tests, quizzes, and other special events. Now, I have students not remembering when I give a quiz/test, writing homework assignments anywhere (hand/ random piece of paper that gets lost easily). I get more homework done when I provide the students with worksheets, but provided my district doesn't give teachers more than 2 reams a month of paper its hard to keep up.
The student planners will allow students the ability to get organized and stay organized. It will give them the opportunity to complete all assignments, study for all tests/quizzes, and keep track of long-term projects not only in World History, but also in their other classes too.
