My students need an ASUS tablet computer to use during Science. A tablet will allow them to stream video and share Powerpoint presentations they have created.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Learning about the planets and the solar system was never as exciting as seeing it come to life! Using technology and a tablet to help the students see the universe in all its stunning and spectacular glory is the first step in getting them excited about Science.
Our school is an inner city school in a major urban area.
Students are in a high risk area. However, in the classroom is where the playing field can be leveled. Students, with the donations given, can be given a chance to afford the same opportunities as other students in more affluent neighborhoods and homes.
A tablet will help the students be able to access various stimulating videos and resources available to them in the world of science.
My Project
My students need an ASUS tablet to use during Science. A tablet will allow them to stream video and share Powerpoint presentations they have created. Tablets are the future of technology and every students across this nation needs to be able to experience technology. Tablets offer the power of bigger computers at a size much smaller and easier to handle. This ASUS tablet will enhance our Earth Science curriculum by having students present research and presentations in a technologically enhanced and visually stunning format.

The ASUS tablet will be used to help every student in our classroom and will further help English Language learners whose English is very limited.
The table will help all students to experience technology first-hand and will last for years.
