This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Thanks so much in advance for helping supply my students with environmental friendly wooden fruits and vegetables to develop their visual motor, visual perceptual, fine motor, visuospatial skills, and problem solving skills in the classroom! The students range from kindergarten up to grade 5. Their diagnoses include Autism, Developmental Delays, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, Angelman's Syndrome, and students with speech impairments and other disabilities. I will also share the donations with colleagues of mine who also work with students with special needs in this school. We have a large therapy room consisting of occupational therapists, speech therapists, and physical therapists. We collaborate when developing treatment plans, and will all benefit from this donation! Thank you so much for your help in providing them with these materials for the spring and summer months!
