Help me give my students 5 Lenovo Yoga tablets and cases to develop an online portfolio of projects and presentations to enhance their communication, comprehension and problem solving skills.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My class is filled with motivated, creative, and hardworking students. They love anything involving the use of technology! Each day is a new chance to explore, share and learn. As a class and family, we motivate one another and love a challenge.
The use of technology is important to me as I work hard to make them ready for all their future endeavors.
Our goal is to utilize technology to enhance their knowledge, but also share their mastery and success.
My Project
These tablets will provide my students with the opportunity to utilize online programs and sources to plan projects, create digital presentations, motivate classmates to read and research new topics and share a digital portfolio with other students and parents.
The tools requested will specifically allow students to:
-Create presentations using "green screen" presentations.
-Research topics through online databases.
-Document their levels of understanding through pictures and other visual aides.
Best of all students will create a digital portfolio through a program call SeeSaw that can be shared with the teacher, class and parents. The opportunities and capabilities are endless by funding 5 tablets!
