Help me give my students Multiplication Tables Poster + Division + Fractions, Decimals & Percentages posters, Math Posters Fractions Order of Operations Mathematics Classroom Banner, and Dry Erase Place Value Whiteboard.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As almost everyone knows and understands, math simply cannot be learned without visuals and hands-on activity for most, if not all. Research has shown time and time again that students need hands on opportunities to manipulate numbers and new concepts.
You will be funding students exploring with Dry Erase Place Value Whiteboards that guide students to visuals that aid them in understanding place value in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
I also requested instructional posters that will be kept as part of the classroom environment and anchor chards to help students during independent class work.
Quality math instruction relies on resources like these to support learning and true understanding. The following resources are useful to understand the value of every number; thus, these Base Ten Magnetic Accents or Rods will help my students have a better sense of place value. These manipulatives will help my students during small group instruction so that my students can visually manipulate these tools or base ten rods by themselves.
