This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My goal for this project is to continue creating a comfortable working environment in the classroom. One of the most important skills a student can gain, outside of the academic expectations in school, is how to respect and organize the resources given to them to learn and grow with.

By providing our classroom with resources that encourage consistent organization, the value of putting items away in a responsible manner, and modeling how each person is accountable for maintaining resources in a shared community, these students learn valuable life skills about how to treat materials respectfully and how to keep the entire classroom clean and welcoming to everyone who enters it.

It is so important to make sure that life skills are taught as often as possible and organization is encouraged to show the value of how to respect and maintain materials provided to them.
