My Students
Many of the students at our school have embraced the arts however many are looking to challenge themselves with in mathematics as well. This will be the first year for AP Statistics at our school in Queens, NY. My students have taken this chance to challenge themselves to a new level of math that they have never been exposed to!
These students are ambitious and dedicated to improving their lives both in and out of school.
All of my students are minorities, come from low income families. Every students plans to attend college and for some students, they will be the first in their family to do so! They are wiling to put in the hard work and extra time to be successful with this rigorous material.
My Project
This will be the first time for AP statistics at our school. These students will be the first to attack this course and will need the proper tools to succeed in this rigorous course. We are a Title 1 school and all of our students come from low income families. To help them succeed, they need the same tools that their peers from other districts have access to.
These Barron's AP review books will help students be exposed to problems that are similar to the AP exam.
They can analyze, review and study the topics that we are covering in class with these books.
