My students are complete hams and love being in front of the camera!
They are in Pre-Kindergarten and they have learned a lot.
Most of these accomplishments have been documented on film, by me. My students are always asking to take pictures. As young as they are, they have had lots of practice taking pictures with their parents' camera phones.
My Project
The instant camera will allow my students to take pictures of their friends in the classroom, as well as on the wonderful trips that we will be going on in the next few months, including going upstate to release our trout into the rivers. My students will be able to snap pictures in an instant and be thrilled to see what they took pictures of. No longer will I hear "When can I see the picture?" The pictures will show up almost instantaneously. They will be able to take pictures of their day at school to share with their friends. The extra film will ensure that that there is more than enough pictures to be taken for the year.
A child's first year in school is the most memorable, for both the child and the parents.
The instant camera and film that I am requesting will ensure that memories will be printed and shown off, so that students can share their experiences. Pictures will no longer be stuck in limbo on memory cards waiting to be printed.
