This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
For this project- Picture Yourself a Reader, I wanted to really focus in on books that my students have really been asking to read or that I felt could really meld with their current interests.
With graphic novels still all of the rage most of the works in this project reflect that with diverse main characters and varied plots.
With this project I want to continue to foster a love of reading for enjoyment in my students. I want every student to feel like reading is a awesome passtime, not just a task to do for a grade or assignment.
