The students at DCHS are the best any teacher can ask for during a teaching career. DCHS students are unique, diverse, creative and one of a kind group of kids. My kids will do anything for their school and community to make it a better place.
What is unique about DCHS is all events and activities is ran by the Leadership Class.
Activities are student led. Student are responsible for brainstorming, budgets, timelines, advertising, planning, hosting and evaluating.
My Project
I teach Leadership and work with student activities in a Title I school in Oklahoma. The past several years, student activities has increased in the school, but there has not been a way to showcase the activities to the rest of the student body. Having a large printer, the students can make posters for the events they are hosting to place around the school. Having a printer of this size, we can also showcase students around the school in large good quality photos. With the activities the students are responsible for, this printer will help tremendously to get the word out to the student body.
What I am requesting is to purchase a HP Designjet T120 Inkjet Large Format Printer and Ink.
Being able to print large posters will help advertise student events along with being able to feature the student body.
