This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our 5th grade students are truth seekers. They care about their school community. These scholars want to capture the many highlights that this school will display throughout the school year 2022 -2023 and beyond, such as holiday programs, art exhibits, career day, classroom projects just to name a few.

This digital video camera will give my students an opportunity to be a part of something amazing!

This school is a low socio - economic stricken school (district). These diverse scholars may not have the chance that many other schools have. With your donation, I plan to teach these scholars to use their creativity as junior photographers to help brighten someone day. Pictures from this camera will be used to decorate the school as well as uplift seniors and the local senior center in the town the school is located. This new Photography Club is a necessary step to help rebuild the community in showcasing the greatness that is all around them.

Having a Photography Club will give the scholars of 5th grade a great opportunity to explore and learn about something different and open a door that can potentially elevate these talented scholars.
