My students are journalists who love attending school events and joining classrooms to document the amazing things happening inside and outside of the walls of our high school. However, with the growth of our journalism enrollment, we've struggled to keep up with the amount of equipment needed for our students. I have nearly 60 journalists, but only 14 cameras and 11 lenses.
This project will put more cameras and lenses in the hands of my journalists so they can do the work they came to my classes to do!
These lenses will allow students to practice sports photography, portraiture and candid photojournalism using the industry standard equipment that professionals use.
