My Project
My students need resources such as 2 cameras, printer, and 5 USB drives to document events, create artwork, and tell stories through pictures. Through photography, they will be able to express themselves artistically in ways they have not previously been expected to express themselves. Given the resources, they will be challenged to record and retell events as they occur during our school year. They will also be presented with important figures in photography and explore historical significance of photography in information gathering, reporting, media, history, and art.
i want this to be an empowering project that fosters responsibility and expression.
My expectation is that it will help my students make wise decisions in picture taking and expand their knowledge of how important photography is in our lives.
