This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Recently I learned about a program called "A Book A Day" that uses picture books to get students ready for concepts in various subjects. These books then lead to a list of books that students have in common and can use in a variety of activities.

Picture books are engaging and fun for students of all ages and teach concepts in a beautiful, colorful way.

By using the books listed in this project the students can learn about science, growth mindset, and character development. Also, by generating a list of books the students have in common it can lead to deeper conversations and communication with each other.
