This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please help me provide the tools necessary through these Social Emotional Learning books that I chose for my students. We have been aware of the fact that during COVID and post-COVID, our students went through a lot of changes that in many cases were not the best for their well-being and especially their social and emotional learning and understanding of the many different emotions this might of caused.

Many of my students suffered loss, families were unemployed, sadness, and social disconnection.

As their teacher, I am willing to take the time to make sure that all of my students understand the many different emotions that they may still be going through, and I want to be able to teach them that it's OK to feel that way and that we can learn how to control these in a way in which they will not affect us in a negative way, but in a positive one as we may also learn from them as well. For this, I need your help. Please consider helping with your donation for my project. I humbly thank you in advance and I am so happy and thankful for amazing human beings like you who also want to see a future with happy kids than adults who will know that these emotions happen, but we can learn how to cope with these and also how to come out stronger out of these.
