This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

No matter the age of children picture books are always loved. These books are fun have great pictures and help everybody feel included in the classroom they open up great discussions and have many activities that can follow along with them.

I love to use picture books to teach the students social emotional learning as well as social justice.

Picture books are a way for students to understand concepts that they face every day but may be hard to understand otherwise. I know that these books will be well loved and read over and over again by me and my students.
