Picture Book Project

Help me give my students the opportunity to listen and learn through reading and looking at pictures and illustrations as well! This will be my 2nd year teaching and I would love to incorporate pictures books.

My Project

Hi all! I am a second year teacher with only two picture books. One thing I have promised myself is to read more picture books during my second year of teaching. Reading and looking through picture books is a fantastic way to keep student engaged while they comprehend the story. Incorporating picture books gives students a time during the day to use all kinds of reading comprehension strategies that they may not get to use during a normal ELA lesson. I would appreciate any donation towards my picture book project!
