This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am an impact teacher which means I teach several different support subjects. Along with art I teach reading intervention and social emotional support for all grade levels TK-6th. I am taking a course in using picture books and literature to teach SEL and have been dreaming of collecting books to support that.

I am looking forward to creating a library specifically for working with my kiddos on social emotional learning and diversity.

The funding of this project will accomplish that and more. Thank you in advance for all the assistance.
