Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students have gained an interest in experiencing a wider variety of sports and activities. Pickleball has become very popular in their community, we would love to expand on this interest and teach them the skills necessary for them to be able to participate in pickleball.
Currently we lack the equiptment to be able to teach students how to build the skills needed to play pickleball.
Pickleball will not only benefit our students physical health but it will also help build skills such as team building, social emotional health, and community involvement.
